Overview

Founded in 1970, TRU has experienced an evolution from its initial days as a community college known as Cariboo College to today where students have the choice of Bachelor's Degrees and three Master's Degrees. Both AWCP 170 and AWCP 171 have been granted accreditation at Thompson Rivers University.

This means that any student attending TRU can take either of these courses and earn three college credits. They have around 1300 international students on campus and over 700 oversees students at their offshore programs in China, Thailand, India, Singapore and Malaysia.

TRU knows a central approach in internationalision realized by TRU World. Their unique selling point is the excellent services they provide to their international students.
