The Royal Canadian Institute of Technology was founded more than 10 years ago. It is an accredited institution with Private Career Training Institutions Agency of the Government of British Columbia, Canada. We are located in Vancouver, the number one city to live and study in.  It offers Certificate and Diploma Programs in Bank Teller, Information Technology (one and two years), Business Administration (one and two years), Nursing & Health Care Assistant, Resident Care Attendant, office Administration, Business Finance, and ESL.


Our college is proud to offer programs and experiences designed to develop in both domestic and international students a lifetime commitment to learning. Our goal is to provide our students with the skills they need for successful employment through our one and two-year diploma programs in IT or Business Administration or through our certificate in Bank Teller Program. We offer industry certification training for MOS, MCAS, MCSA, MCP, MCSE, Novell, Cisco, CompTIA, Payroll and others. We are an authorized Microsoft IT Academy.

Location & Facilities

The campus has a friendly administration and staff who understand the different challenges domestic and, especially, international students face, such as homesickness and the academic problems of non-native English speakers. Student services also include a number of group activities and excursions inside and outside Vancouver that will give our students wonderful opportunities to learn about Canada and its history and culture. It will also give you enjoyable and unforgettable experiences.


Royal Canadian Institute of Technology does not have on campus accommodation instead we have homestay. This is an excellent way to improve your English and to learn about Canadian culture.


All homestay families are carefully interviewed, and chosen to meet the specific needs of homestay students. Special requests, including special food, religious concerns should be mentioned on your application form. If a homestay is required, there is a non-refundable placement fee of $230.00 to find a family, after which there is a fee of $760.00 for four (4) weeks which starts from the date of arrival to Vancouver and includes room and board. Extra nights, as well as staying for less than one month are charged at a rate of $30.00 per night. One month's notice is required in order to extend your stay or to leave earlier than originally planned.

Yes, you can apply for a scholarship. The Office of the Registrar offers scholarship to students up to $2000.00. Students may apply for additional scholarships for the second year of study at the end of their first year of study.  Additional scholarships are awarded based upon merit and performance, and are not guaranteed.
































The general intakes are in January, May and September.
