Overview

Memorial University is located in Canada's easternmost province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is a high-quality public institution with a wide range of programs and affordable tuition. Memorial is ranked 5th among comprehensive universities in Canada by Maclean's magazine, and led Canada's universities in research income growth between 2002 and 2007. Memorial has 17,300 students and an international student population of 6% with representation from more than 90 different countries. Location & Facilities

Memorial University has four campuses. The St. John's Campus, which is the largest, is located in the province's capital city and offers a comprehensive range of programs. Sir Wilfred Grenfell College is a small liberal arts and sciences campus located in Corner Brook. The Marine Institute, which specializes in training for the ocean industries, is located in St. John's. Scholarships

International applicants will be considered for an entrance scholarship of $2,000 or $3,000 CAD, based on grades at the time of application. Students who maintain a B average during their studies at Memorial, or scholarship standing, may be considered for further scholarship.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 


Intake

The main intake for most programs is in September, for which the deadline is March 1. Some programs will allow students to commence in January (deadline October 1) or May (deadline February 1).
