Confederation College is a publicly-funded, post-secondary institution serving education needs in Northwestern Ontario and beyond.


Confederation College is a provincially funded community college It was established in 1967, It is one of only two community colleges supporting Northwestern Ontario. The press, Opus, is a member of CUP.Confederation College, serving a diversity of learners, develops citizens who will be positioned for success in their lives and careers. The college provides a workforce relevant to the communities of Northwestern Ontario and beyond.

    It is located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. and has area campuses in Dryden, Fort Frances, Geraldton, Kenora, Marathon and Sioux Lookout. The college, with its area campuses, serves an area of approximately 215,000 square kilometres.Ample parking is located close to all buildings and the campus is serviced frequently by city bus routes.We are one of 24 colleges operating over 150 campuses in both urban and rural settings throughout Ontario.
